Tim McWhirter

Tim McWhirter is a group banking advisor in the firm’s North Carolina Southern Region. He and his team specialize in providing distinctive service and effective advice to business and banking clients, helping partner companies and their employees improve their financial health and well-being. 
 
Before joining the firm in January 2020, McWhirter worked for credit unions for three decades. He entered the financial services industry as a part-time teller and successfully held various positions throughout his career. 

McWhirter is an active participant with the World Affairs Council of Charlotte, regional chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management and various chambers of commerce. He has an associate's degree from Central Piedmont Community College and is a graduate of Leadership Charlotte. McWhirter is most passionate about building lasting partnerships and helping people improve their financial well-being.
