Richard A. Arthur
Rick Arthur serves as Pinnacle’s executive vice president of consumer and small business banking.
Before Pinnacle’s acquisition of BNC Bancorp in 2017, Arthur was executive vice president and chief consumer banking officer at BNC, where he was responsible for all of the consumer-related functions of the company. He began his financial services career at NationsBank (Bank of America), where he spent held a variety of consumer, wealth management, product management, merger integration and commercial leadership roles. He ultimately transitioned to community and regional banking and has a passion for serving associates and clients to have a significant impact on communities across the southeast.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Clemson University and received a degree from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the Wharton School in Philadelphia.
Arthur is active in the Charleston, SC, community where he lives with his wife and two children. He’s served as the board chair for the non-profit Park West Campus Education Fund, led business development teams for the Chamber of Commerce, served on the board of the YMCA, chaired the United Way campaign, coached youth soccer and held various other volunteering roles. He is also the Board Development Chair for the Wando High School Band where his children attend school.
