Steve Swain

Steve Swain is a community lending manager for Pinnacle. He leads the lending production office teams and partners with consumer, mortgage and community development to deliver lending programs that improve the communities we serve throughout our footprint. Swain is also a member of Pinnacle’s Corporate Social Responsibility, Community Development and Retail Credit committees. 

Prior to joining Pinnacle in 2019, he was with First Horizon for 19 years, where he held several leadership roles primarily as a consumer lending regional sales manager, mortgage sales director and a retail program manager. Swain began his financial services career in 1987 at Associates First Capital Corporation (acquired by Citigroup in 2000), where he spent 12 years in various consumer lending and operations leadership roles.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in mass communications from the University of Montevallo in Alabama.

Swain serves on the advisory board for The Benjamin L. Hooks Institute for Social Change at the University of Memphis and as vice president of the Memphis CRA Association. He is a past board member of Operation HOPE, Inc. - HOPE Inside National Advisory Board.
