Benji Anderson

Benjamin “Benji” Anderson is a seasoned financial executive with over two decades of experience leading commercial banking teams and advising businesses throughout the coastal SC region. He currently serves as a financial advisor/area manager for Pinnacle Financial Partners, overseeing commercial banking operations for South Carolina’s coastal markets from the firm’s Morrison Yard office in Charleston.

Prior to joining Pinnacle, Anderson served as Senior Vice President and Manager of Commercial Banking at First Citizens Bank, where he led a team of bankers covering markets from Charleston to Savannah, GA. His financial leadership includes previous roles at SunTrust Bank (now Truist), where he consistently earned increased leadership roles and accolades. 

Anderson specializes in team development, client acquisition, and delivering customized financial strategies for large commercial companies. His leadership approach blends deep relationship management with advanced analytics and performance education—resulting in sustained revenue growth and market expansion.

A graduate of Lander University with a B.S. in Accounting, Anderson also completed the South Carolina Bankers School and recently graduated from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. 

Beyond banking, Anderson is an engaged civic leader. He is a current member and past president of the Mount Pleasant Rotary Club and involved with the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce. He is also active with local youth sports development through his work on the board and through coaching at FC Charleston soccer club.
