Sammy Ballesteros

Sammy Ballesteros is an executive vice president and serves as Pinnacle’s special assets group manager. He is based at the firm’s downtown Nashville office at Symphony Place.

Ballesteros, with more than 40 years of financial services experience, joined Pinnacle in 2019 from SunTrust Bank, where he was a senior vice president and senior commercial risk officer responsible for developing and leading SunTrust’s credit evaluation and industry risk areas. Previously Ballesteros was the regional special asset manager for AmSouth Bank (First American National Bank/currently Regions Bank), where he managed more than $800MM to $900MM in loan portfolios.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville. Ballesteros is a U.S. Military Veteran.
