Matt Goodson

Matt Goodson is a Senior Vice President and trust and wealth advisor for Pinnacle’s Atlanta market.

Prior to joining Pinnacle, Matt worked for more than 14 years with Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust). Matt has spent his entire career in the trust and wealth management industry and holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) and Accredited Trust Fiduciary Advisor (ATFA) designations. Matt received his degree in trust and wealth management (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Campbell University. He is also a member of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council, Estate Planning Council of North Georgia, Children’s Healthcare Legacy Advisors and the Georgia Planned Giving Council.

Matt specializes in helping individuals and families navigate complex trust and estate planning needs. His background in trust administration and time spent working with multigeneration families allows him to help align the values and goals of clients to the values and expertise of the Pinnacle team. Throughout Matt’s career his primary focus has been on spending time with, and being available to, clients in order to better understand each of their specific objectives. Matt works closely with attorneys, accountants and specialty advisors to ensure he is providing the right solutions to the right clients that can both preserve and grow wealth.
