Cort H. Bethmann, J.D., LL.M. is the Trust Manager responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of trust advisors, portfolio managers, and trust specialists serving the Georgia market.

Cort oversees the delivery of fiduciary, investment, and wealth planning solutions, ensuring clients receive distinctive service and effective advice that is aligned with their long-term financial and legacy objectives. Cort provides strategic leadership to his team while partnering with clients, centers of influence, and internal partners to address complex trust, estate, and wealth transfer planning needs.

Leveraging his background as a trust and estate attorney, Cort guides the administration of sophisticated trust relationships and supports clients in areas such as trust and estate planning, asset protection, charitable giving, tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies, and fiduciary risk management.

Cort is committed to delivering a distinctive client experience, fostering collaboration, and driving a client-focused culture built on responsiveness, technical excellence, and personalized relationship management. He works closely with his team to identify opportunities, deepen client engagement, and deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions.

Cort has several years of experience as a faculty member at the Belmont Center for Executive Education teaching income tax to CFP® candidates. He is a member of the Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas bars and also involved in the Atlanta Estate Planning Council, North Georgia Estate Planning Council, and other professional organizations.

In his free time, Cort enjoys CrossFit, concerts, hiking, tennis, pickleball, and competing in obstacles course races.
