Jonathan Richardson

Jonathan Richardson serves as regional president for Pinnacle’s western and central Virginia region with responsibility for all commercial and consumer banking operations. He was previously an area manager for Pinnacle’s commercial banking team since joining the firm in 2018.

Richardson began his career in financial services in 1995 with First Union. After spending several years as a credit advisor and middle market relationship manager, he spent the final 6 years of his 23 years at Wells Fargo as the manager of middle market banking for western Virginia. Richardson earned a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech with a double major of finance and economics. 

He is a longstanding member of the board of directors and finance committee of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Virginia. In addition, Richardson serves on the board of directors of Restoration Housing and the committee of the Jim Barker Educational Scholarship Fund.
