GRATITUDE AND GOOD FEELINGS
Some lending is a career full of gratitude and good feelings. I like educating first-time home buyers about the process so it can be easier for them to follow and make decisions. Seeing the impact it brings and helping them achieve their dream of home ownership is a great feeling.

I once had the good fortune to work with a retired and disabled Army Veteran who had never owned his own home. He came to me with less than $1,500 in his account, but we worked together to get his financial house in order and explore all the options open to him. We ended up using the Veterans Administration loan program to get him a 100 percent financing loan along with a grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank to get him into a new home. It’s always an incredible experience.
