Scott Bendure Joins Pinnacle as Financial Advisor and Area Manager

Three Additional Talented Associates Expand Shady Grove Team

Scott Bendure has joined Pinnacle Financial Partners as a financial advisor and area manager for the firm’s client advisory group in Memphis, along with are financial advisors Travis Hughes and Kim Weaver. All are based at the firm’s main Memphis office at 949 S. Shady Grove Rd. Financial advisor assistant Chris Baumgardner also joined the Shady Grove office team.

Scott BendureBendure comes to Pinnacle with 17 years of financial services experience. He spent the last 11 years with Truist Private Wealth Management, where he was managing director and wealth advisor. Prior to his time with Truist, Bendure was with Regions Bank in their private client services group as an advisor, partnering with Morgan Keegan (now Raymond James). His practice focus will be financial, estate, business succession, investment, and insurance planning along with the rest of the full suite of solutions offered with Pinnacle Financial Partners.

Bendure currently holds his Series 24, 7 and 66 securities licenses in addition to his life and health insurance license. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis and a master’s degree in business administration from Union University. Bendure serves on the executive committee of the Orpheum Theatre Group board of directors and is involved with other civic and social organizations throughout the city.

Travis HughesHughes brings 17 years of financial services experience to his role, most recently as vice president at Pathway Lending, where he managed the Memphis Small Business Opportunity Loan fund. In addition to Pathway, he worked at Gateway Group, Regions Bank and Bank of America, all in Memphis. Hughes earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix and a master’s degree from New England College.

Kim WeaverWeaver came to Pinnacle from Renasant Bank in Memphis, where she was senior vice president and relationship manager. She has 30 years of financial services experience, including roles for First American Bank (now Regions Bank), Enterprise National Bank and Community Bank of Germantown. Weaver earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis and completed additional training at the Paul W. Barret School of Banking and the American Bankers Association’s Commercial School of Banking. She is on the board of the Germantown Performing Arts Guild.

Chris BaumgardnerBaumgardner came to Pinnacle from SunTrust Bank (now Truist) in Memphis, where he was a wealth support specialist for nine years. His 11 years of experience also includes work for Bank of America. Baumgardner earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Memphis. He is a youth minister at Saint Andrew’s Church in Collierville, TN.
