Pinnacle Opens New Office to Better Serve Murfreesboro
Medical Center Parkway location offers additional convenience
Pinnacle Financial Partners’ new Murfreesboro office on Medical Center Parkway opened Monday, October 19. Office leader Courtney Chavez has been part of the firm’s team for a year and has deep experience in financial services in Rutherford County.
In addition to Chavez, the team on Medical Center Parkway will include client service advisors Kim Fisher and Scott Smith and financial specialists Sarah Fann and Jill Heath.
“Murfreesboro is experiencing a lot of momentum, and this is a key location to round out our footprint in the area,” said Stephanie Kusch, Pinnacle’s area manager for client services in Murfreesboro. “Our new office is at a mid-way point between Pinnacle’s Cason Lane location and Northwest Broad Street drive-thru and surrounded by new businesses and homes. Courtney is the perfect person to lead our growth here because she is primed with the experience and expertise that our clients have come to expect. She’s built a great team.”
Chavez has more than 14 years of banking experience in Rutherford County and most recently served as business banking relationship manager at First Horizon Bank. As a former business owner, she has a passion for small business advocacy and advice.
Chavez currently serves on the boards of United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties, American Association of University Women (AAUW) of Murfreesboro and The Middle Tennessee Fund for Women and Girls. Her heart for community service has twice resulted in a nomination for an Athena Young Professional Award, and she was named Young Leader of the Year by the United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties earlier this year.
Fisher brings 23 years of financial services experience in Murfreesboro, most recently at Regions Bank. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Middle Tennessee State University.
Smith spent the last eight years with Regions Bank in Murfreesboro, most recently as a financial relationship senior consultant and team lead. He attended Middle Tennessee State University and holds life insurance and annuity licenses for Tennessee.
Fann joined Pinnacle from First Horizon Bank in Murfreesboro, where she was senior lead teller. She has five years of financial services experience and three and a half years in the insurance industry.
Heath has six years of financial services experience, most recently as a financial service specialist at Regions Bank in Murfreesboro. She also worked as a legal secretary and an office manager following her graduation from Nashville State Technical Institute with an associate’s degree.
The Medical Center Parkway office is Pinnacle’s sixth full-service location in Murfreesboro and its first new office in the city since 2006. It is designed to serve the full range of clients’ business and personal financial needs and features an ATM and two drive-thru lanes. It also includes Pinnacle’s signature feature, a Learning Center with full audio-visual capabilities. This is a space dedicated to financial education events for clients and neighbors and is also open for community use.
The office will include light blond woods, modern metal and glass fixtures and abundant natural light. It spans 4,190 square feet. The architect was Hastings Architecture in Nashville, and the general contractor was RC Mathews.
