Pinnacle is the Triad’s No. 1 Extra-Large Place to Work
Pinnacle Financial Partners is the No. 1 Best Place to Work among companies with 300+ associates in the Triad region of North Carolina, representing Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point. The Triad Business Journal named Pinnacle to the top spot in the extra-large companies category for its annual competition to find the region’s top workplaces. This is the first local workplace honor the firm has earned in North Carolina since entering the area in 2017.
“This is proof positive that the Pinnacle culture has taken hold in a big way in North Carolina,” said Rick Callicutt, Pinnacle’s chairman for the Carolinas and Virginia. “We work carefully and deliberately to make our firm the bank of choice for the top financial professionals in the Southeast. It takes all hands on deck to make that happen, and clearly our associates here in the Triad are committed to that vision.”
The competition is based on third-party research from Quantum Workplace, a leading employee engagement firm. They send anonymous surveys to employees with closed and open-ended questions on culture, camaraderie and other criteria. Average scores from these surveys determine the final rankings and awards.
Dozens of companies are eligible, and only a handful are chosen as finalists.
“There’s a reason why our growth in the Triad is so strong,” said Reid Marks, Pinnacle’s regional president for central North Carolina. “We attract successful bankers by being a better place to work than the big national and regional franchises. When they come here, they are happier and freer to do the work that they love, which is serving clients. So both clients and associates benefit from the cultural magic we work.”
Pinnacle has won dozens of local and national workplace awards since it was founded in 2000, including:
