Pinnacle is Among 10 Best Places to Work in Chattanooga

Pinnacle Financial Partners is still one of 10 Best Places to Work in Chattanooga, as announced by EDGE magazine and Chattanooga Times Free Press. It is the second year in a row that the firm has appeared on the list.

“Being a beloved employer doesn’t happen overnight,” said Craig Holley, chairman of the Pinnacle’s Chattanooga region. “It’s intentional work, and it was the intention of Pinnacle’s founders when they began the firm. They still set the tone, but it’s the team we have today who own the responsibility of sustaining a best-in-class culture and continually growing it. We believe everyone deserves a great place to work, and we’ve proven that it improves the client experience and makes our community stronger.”

To make this list, local employers and their associates had to work through a comprehensive survey process run by the Best Companies Group.

While Pinnacle does not have access to the Best Companies Group survey results, the Chattanooga associates team gave consistent feedback on the company’s annual anonymous survey.:

“Communication from the leadership team is outstanding. From the top down, we all know what we are to do and why we are doing it. … There is flexibility here to do the right thing to help the customer... We have all the tools necessary to succeed here.”

“I appreciate that the firm truly values its employees. This has been very evident during the pandemic. I cannot express how thankful I am for the flexibility and seeing how all leadership truly cares about all employees and has their well-being at the top.”

“My firm treats all associates as valuable contributors and really strives to keep us moving forward as a team.”

Earlier this year, Pinnacle was listed by FORTUNE Magazine as No. 14 of their list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For in the United States and No. 8 on their list of the top financial services firms to work for. In 2020, the firm climbed to the No. 4 spot on both the list of Best Workplaces for Millenials and Best Workplaces for Women from FORTUNE magazine and Great Place to Work.^® People Magazine named the firm one of the 50 Companies That Care. That makes about 25 national awards for workplace culture in Pinnacle’s history, along with dozens of local and regional awards. Like the Chattanooga Top Workplaces award, many of those are determined by employee surveys.
