Pinnacle Hires Veteran Financial Advisor in Roanoke

Jonathan Richardson brings 23 years’ commercial banking experience

Pinnacle Financial Partners is adding significant experience and expertise to its team in Roanoke by bringing Jonathan Richardson on board as a financial advisor. He will serve commercial banking clients from the firm’s main office in the region on Church Avenue downtown.

Prior to joining Pinnacle, Richardson spent his entire career at Wells Fargo and its predecessor banks. He joined First Union after graduating from Virginia Tech, starting as a commercial credit analyst and then serving as a senior relationship manager for nearly 15 years. Since 2012, Richardson led Wells Fargo’s 15-person middle market banking team with responsibility for all of western Virginia and West Virginia.

Richardson earned his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech with a double major in finance and economics. He is active in the community through his longstanding service on the Boys & Girls Club Board of Trustees, as well as his volunteer efforts in the Cave Spring National Little League.

This new addition follows swiftly on the heels of Pinnacle hiring three other financial advisors in Virginia, including Ryan White as a commercial financial advisor for Lynchburg, Henry Caldwell as a wealth manager and Donna Elliott as a mortgage advisor.
