Pinnacle Expands in Alabama with New Office in Athens

Pinnacle Financial Partners, a bank based in Nashville, TN, opened a new and temporary full-service office in Athens today, at 112 N. Jefferson Street. A brand new permanent space is set to open in 2025 at 1394 Freeman Avenue. This is Pinnacle’s second location in North Alabama and fourth in the state since moving into the market in 2021.

The team based at the new office includes:

• Christy Jones, client service advisor
• Beth Feigley, client service advisor
• Bellany Harris, financial specialist
• Marilyn Smith, financial specialist

Additionally, Huntsville based financial advisors Daniel Coblentz and Chris Kern will serve Athens clients out of the new office.

Craig joined Pinnacle at the end of 2023. She comes from Regions Bank where she started as a teller and worked her way up from customer service representative, and assistant branch manager to  branch manager. She brings 30 years of financial services experience to the firm.

Jones also comes from Regions and brings 31 years of banking. She most recently served as branch team leader, and prior roles include commercial loan assistant and customer service representative, among others.

Feigley, also from Regions, served for 25 years in various roles like business loan assistant, teller and senior financial specialist.

Harris also comes to Pinnacle from Regions where she most recently served as head teller. She has 18 years of financial services experience.

Smith brings close to 30 years of financial services experience to Pinnacle. She joins the firm after 20 years with Regions, where she served as a financial relationship associate.
