Angel Watching Over You by Deann Hebert

Deann Hebert traded in her corporate high heels for paint brushes years ago, and for the past decade she has had an open working studio in a once-abandoned stove factory in historic Franklin, Tennessee. She also has a gallery on Main Street in downtown Franklin. 

Her paintings seek to tell the stories of our collective past and the rich history of the south, as well as inspire the viewer to listen to our ancestors' voices and not just see but cherish our old places and the lives they have influenced. 

Formally trained at Auburn University and The Chelsea School of Art & Design, Deann uses layer upon layer of palette knife texture that is reminiscent of tree bark and peeling barn paint. Learn more at deanndesigns.com
