Michael Kohl

Michael Kohl serves as financial advisor and leads a team of financial advisors for the Knoxville market. He’s worked in financial services since 1999 and has spent time in many different areas of banking including capital markets and investment banking, private wealth management for high-net-worth individuals and corporate banking. He was with SunTrust and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey prior to joining Pinnacle Financial Partners in 2018.  

Michael is a graduate from the University of Tennessee with an undergraduate degree in Finance and earned an MBA in 1999.  He currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Pat Summitt Foundation, the Executive Board for the Boy Scouts of America and is a member of the University of Tennessee Chancellor Associates. Michael is a member of Leadership Knoxville’s class of 2023. He and his wife Susan have three children and attend Sacred Heart Cathedral Church.
