Pinnacle Named No. 2 Top Workplace in Charlotte
Pinnacle Financial Partners is one of the best places to work in Charlotte, NC. The firm landed in the top three this year at No. 2 on a list of Top Workplaces from The Charlotte Observer in the midsize companies category, which includes businesses with 150 to 499 employees. It is Pinnacle’s second time to be featured on the list. The firm’s ranking last year was No. 7 in the small companies category.
“This accolade is particularly meaningful as we grow our team in the market,” said Rob Ellenburg, Pinnacle’s regional president in southern North Carolina. “To maintain a tight-knit culture as a larger group takes intention. I have to hand it to our associates, who bring new team members into the fold with enthusiasm and make sure everyone is included in keeping our work environment special. That enables us to recruit the best of the best and ensure the client experience at Pinnacle is notably better than at other banks.”
The list of Top Workplaces is based entirely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by the research firm Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution and connection, to name just a few.
Earlier this year firm was named the No. 1 workplace in the Triad region of North Carolina and the No. 1 Top Workplace in Knoxville, TN, among others.
Pinnacle is No. 8 in the nation on American Banker’s Best Banks to Work For and No. 14 on Fortune magazine’s list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For in the United States. The firm climbed to the No. 4 spot on both the list of Best Workplaces for Millennials and Best Workplaces for Women from Fortune magazine and Great Place to Work. People Magazine named the firm one of 50 Companies That Care.
Pinnacle has earned dozens of national, local and regional awards for workplace culture in its 20-year history. Like the Charlotte Top Workplaces award, many of those are determined by employee surveys.
