Pinnacle Financial Partners adds three to Winston-Salem team
Pinnacle Financial Partners has added three experienced financial professionals in Winston-Salem. Jimmy Smith joins as a trust and wealth advisor, working with individuals and families on comprehensive wealth strategies. Michael Silva joins as an office leader based at the Peace Haven office, where he will serve personal and small business clients. Anna Benson joins as a financial advisor assistant based at the Century Plaza office, supporting clients and advisors across the market.
Smith brings nearly 20 years of experience in trust and wealth management, most recently serving as a senior trust advisor with Wells Fargo. He has worked closely with high-net-worth individuals and families on estate planning, fiduciary services and multi-generational wealth strategies. Smith holds a bachelor’s degree in trust and wealth management from Campbell University and is active in the Winston-Salem community, including Leadership Winston-Salem and several local nonprofit and civic organizations.

Silva brings 15 years of banking experience, most recently serving as a retail area leader and branch leader with Truist. He has led teams focused on personal and small business banking while working across lines of business to meet a full range of client needs. He holds an associate degree from Forsyth Technical Community College and is continuing his studies at Winston-Salem State University. A native Spanish speaker, Silva is equipped to serve a broad range of clients across the community.

Benson brings 13 years of banking and client service experience, most recently working in treasury and commercial banking support roles at Truist. She has experience onboarding new treasury clients, supporting relationship managers and handling day-to-day client needs across deposit and loan accounts. Benson began her career in retail banking leadership roles in the Winston-Salem area and is known for her responsiveness and attention to detail.
