Pinnacle Financial Partners adds new office leaders to serve Central Florida
New hires bring deep banking experience to Winter Park, Longwood and Apopka offices
ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 6, 2026 — Pinnacle Financial Partners, which merged with Synovus Bank earlier this year, has added three financial professionals in Central Florida with more than 80 years of combined banking experience.
Hetav Dave joins as office leader in Longwood, Linda Kennedy-Martin joins as office leader in Apopka, and Gary Moses as office leader in Winter Park. Together, they will further strengthen the firm’s Central Florida presence while introducing the Pinnacle brand across the Orlando area.
“Our newest team members have a practical understanding of how to serve clients with care and clarity, and they’ve built their careers helping people feel confident in their financial decisions,” said Elza Clarke Samuel, area manager for client services group in Orlando. “They know the people, neighborhoods and businesses that make this part of Florida special, so clients can work with financial professionals who understand the local market. That kind of experience makes banking feel less complicated and more personal, which is exactly what we want for our clients at Pinnacle.”
Dave joins Pinnacle as office leader in Longwood with 13 years of financial services experience. He most recently served as assistant vice president and branch leader for Truist in Orlando and previously worked as a senior relationship banker and team lead for Truist, formerly BB&T, in Longwood. Dave earned a Bachelor of Science in economics from Memorial University in Newfoundland.
Kennedy-Martin joins as office leader in Apopka, bringing 44 years of banking experience in the Orlando market. She most recently served as vice president and banking center manager for the Medical District Banking Center for First Horizon Bank, and she has held branch leadership roles with several banks throughout her career. Active in community volunteerism, she currently serves on the board of The Lifeboat Project and the South of Downtown Orlando (SODO) Main Street District. She attended Florida State University.
Moses brings 25 years of banking and financial services experience to his role as office leader in Winter Park. He recently served as vice president and banking center manager for First Horizon Bank, previously IberiaBank, and held leadership roles with SunTrust, PNC and RBC Bank. In the community, Moses serves on the Rollins College Hamilton Holt School advisory board, the National Black MBA Association’s Central Florida chapter, The Pride Chamber, Our Lessons Learned and the Winter Park Chamber. He earned an MBA from Rollins College’s Crummer Graduate School of Business.
The new team members follow the addition of Orlando regional president Michael McClanahan, who is instrumental in building the Pinnacle brand and growing its market share in communities long served by Synovus, including Apopka, Longwood and Winter Park. Together, the additions bring more local leadership, client relationships and market knowledge to Pinnacle as the firm grows its presence in Orlando.
Pinnacle’s merger with Synovus closed in January 2026, bringing together two relationship-focused financial firms with a shared commitment to clients and communities across the Southeast. The transition to the Pinnacle brand in Florida is expected to continue through the first quarter of 2027 as the integration is completed.
