Pinnacle Financial Partners Add Brad Thompson as Commercial Banker in Raleigh

Pinnacle Financial Partners has added Brad Thompson as a financial advisor based in Raleigh. He brings more than 20 years of financial services experience in the Triangle region and most recently served in a similar role with Dogwood State Bank.

“Brad has deep roots in Raleigh and has spent his career helping businesses grow and plan for what’s next,” said Jim Foster, area manager. “He understands how to bring the right people and resources together for clients, and that’s what we’re all about.”

Thompson will focus on serving commercial clients across the Triangle, connecting them with Pinnacle’s full range of banking, treasury management and other specialized services. Before joining Pinnacle, he served as a commercial banker with Dogwood State Bank, where he supported business clients and helped bring in new relationships. He also spent several years with Wells Fargo as a senior relationship manager working with complex commercial clients and earlier in leadership roles with BB&T. Thompson earned his MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
