Pinnacle among Best Places to Work in the Triangle six years in a row
RALEIGH, N.C., Aug. 21, 2026 – For the sixth year in a row, Pinnacle Financial Partners has been named a Best Place to Work in the Triangle region of North Carolina. The Triangle Business Journal announced the ranking at a luncheon with Pinnacle placing fourth in the large companies category.
“Creating a great work environment is a top priority for Pinnacle,” said Mark Carlton, Pinnacle’s regional president in Eastern North Carolina. “When our team members enjoy coming to work, feel trusted to do what’s right and share a sense of purpose, they give clients better service. Our team members tell us Pinnacle feels different from other places they’ve worked, and we work hard to keep it that way as we grow.”
Pinnacle team members in the Triangle have consistently given their workplace culture high marks. A sample from the anonymous Triangle Best Places to Work survey:
“Our Pinnacle Financial Partners culture is a precious ’One Team’ philosophy; we win or lose together. Our experienced bankers know, depend on and support each other as teammates..”
“I appreciate the strength of our culture, which empowers my teammates and myself to fulfill our clients' needs. This culture starts at the top and filters through all levels of the organization. Our incentive program also encourages that we all succeed together, rather than incentivizing individuals to choose a path that will give them a higher reward but may not be in the best interest of the organization as a whole, or, for that matter, of the client.”
The Best Places to Work list is based on third-party research from Quantum Workplace, a leading employee engagement firm. Quantum sends anonymous surveys to employees with closed and open-ended questions on culture, camaraderie and other criteria. Average scores from these surveys determine the final rankings and awards.
