Pinnacle Adds Leader in Spartanburg with Veteran Financial Advisor

January 03, 2019

Pinnacle Financial Partners is adding a commercial lending leader in the Upstate. Robert Moore has joined the firm as an area manager and financial advisor helping lead the firm’s Robert Mooreclient advisory team in Spartanburg. He is based at Pinnacle’s office on East Main Street.

“Pinnacle is serious about investing in Upstate South Carolina, and we need another veteran banking leader in Spartanburg,” said Ed Stein, Pinnacle’s regional president. “Robert has built a successful career by giving his clients the service they need in ways other people couldn’t. Like many others, he was drawn to Pinnacle by the culture and the business model, and he will help us build on our success in this community.”

Moore has 27 years of local experience in financial services. He most recently served Carolina Alliance Bank and spent seven years as a principal relationship manager at Wells Fargo before that. He was previously the founder and owner of RAM Capital Solutions, Inc. focused on commercial real estate.

“Pinnacle’s work in Spartanburg is growing, and it will only pick up speed as we build out the commercial team here,” Moore said. “I wanted to be part of this firm because Ed and his people have built a tremendous amount of momentum by focusing on clients and giving them what they need without a lot of bureaucracy. It’s my job to build on that work so we can be even more successful.”

Moore is a graduate of The Citadel, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management. He serves in various leadership roles at the First Baptist Church of Spartanburg and as board chairman of the Upstate Regional Education Center Advisory Board (RECAB). Moore has previously served with Junior Achievement and Habitat for Humanity.
