Group of Banking Veterans Strengthens Pinnacle Financial Partners in Maryland
Pinnacle Financial Partners announced the additions of Jack Saffran, Carrie Heckendorf, Miranda Price and Jenny Orndorff to its Maryland team. They are serving clients from the firm’s Columbia Merriweather office.

Saffran, a financial advisor specializing in personal wealth strategies, most recently served as a premier banker and vice president for Truist. Throughout his 20-year financial career, he has also served in several leadership and advisory capacities. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and is involved in his community, serving as a mentor for Father Formation Ministry and coach for youth sports.
Heckendorf has 24 years of experience and serves as a financial advisor assistant. She joined Pinnacle from Truist, where she served as a commercial client specialist. She also held key positions at BB&T and Susquehanna Bank.
Price serves Pinnacle as a client service advisor with 20 years of experience. She previously served as a branch manager and vice president at Wells Fargo and has prior experience at Bank of America, State Employees Credit Union, Sovereign Bank and Capital One Bank. She graduated from the University of Maryland Global Campus with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Orndorff serves as a credit advisor and joined Pinnacle from Truist, where she served in several key roles throughout her career, most recently as a portfolio manager. She brings 21 years of experience to Pinnacle and received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Frostburg State University.
